Rooted deep from the West Indies and Eastern Europe, Dean B. aka Breaker has just begun to lace dance floors with his “industrial hardcore - metal - punk - bboy” mash down style of drum n bass. Discovering his musical talents on his fathers turntables at the age of 11 and by way of playing the saxophone when he was 12, Dean began to make his 1st compositions with just two tape decks and a SEGA game console. Originally an extreme fine artist and Industrial producer in his teens, Dean found he could push his vision of twisted mindscapes thru drum n bass further. Heavy influenced by death metal, punk music, hip-hop, industrial, and gabber, Dean emanates those upbringings in his newest works. Recently signed to OHMRESISTANCE, and OBLITERATI after earning recognition for his tunes, Breaker has many projects afoot including his new label GUERILLA RECORDINGS.
GUERILLA features all star heavy weight artists like Counterstrike, Current Value, SPL, Gein, Identity, Infiltrata, Silent Killer and many more. GUERILLA has been gaining recent support from dj’s like Technical Itch, Submerged, Diesel Boy, Panacea, BKey, Audio and Counterstrike. Look out for reviews and news articles about GUERILLA RECORDINGS in upcoming issues of acclaimed drum n bass magazines such as Knowledge and Rinse. Keep your eyes peeled as GUERILLA RECORDINGS launches in March of 2007. Promos due in March of the 1st release “Trigger Happy” by South Africa’s infamous duo Counterstrike paired with “Fucking Bliss” from Brooklyn newest sensation Silent Killer. Breakers label GUERILLA is concentrated on the sound he loves blending top notch quality and blitz production. With collaborations in progress with Infiltrata, Silent Killer, Identity, and Krusha, this 22 year old is already accomplished with much in store for the future of DnB.
Forthcoming releases 12" from Breaker include his collaboration with Submerged on OBLITERATI entitled “4 Minutes Hate”. The dedication to punk music and industrial chaos is released January 30th(OBLITO4). Next up for Breaker is “(AI) Animal Instinct” featuring vocals by the adorable vocalist from John B’s “American Girls” Victoria aka Cheetah. (AI) is slated on GUERILLA RECORDINGS as the 2nd release(ILLA002). Further projects are in the works as Breaker is hitting the lab intently with his new partner in crime Silent Killer. The new formed partnership is to develop into a smashing new EP for his Label Guerilla Recordings.
