About Me

MyGen Profile Generator
"When I was a fifth grader, my mother read the stories I wrote and would often say, 'Honey, these stories didn't happen to you. Write about your life and your experiences. Write about what you know.' This has come to be the approach I take with my songwriting. "
Beth Roesch is a Christian singer songwriter with a smooth mellow voice. The inspiration for her original acoustic pop/country music is pulled directly from her day to day experiences as a woman, wife and mother of two small children learning to live in balance with God's will for her life.
"It's my 'little epiphanies' that move me to write: the lessons learned, the life changing experiences, it's the treasured prayers and Bible verses 'that had to be God' speaking directly to me. It's the ideas I've picked up along the way, the ones that I can't stop telling everyone about. It's all mashed together in a musical, lyrical decoupage. Music borne from moments of confusion, of diligently working a thing through, moments of awe and of gratitude, moments of sadness and longing and testing."
"My songs tell the stories of my life, and yet, one of the greatest surprises is that in sharing my own moments I'm finding the moments aren't just my own. Many have told me that they hear their story echoed in mine. And that answers my prayer, that God will speak to another soul through this music... just as He does to me."

The Wings With Which We Fly
