R.A.T.S. formed in the summer of 2001 by a group of friends who bought instruments not knowing how to play and just started writing songs and having fun at our saigon house across the street from our neighbors from Stand Against. Through the years we have made alot of friends from playing and we love to interact with open minded people and try to make something positive come from this scene. We are about bringing people together and having a fun time. As you might know we may not be the most talented band out there but theres nothing better than gettin crazy with your friends and playing music. For the most part we like our music to have a messege but you cant take everything so serious. We've had the pleasure of playing with A.V's finest including The Filthy McNastys, Stand Against, Missing 23rd, Blood Stands Still, Terminal Holocaust, F-Bomb, Kill Radio, Leisureboy, Cleveland Steamer, Ripped To Shreds, Illicit, Subjective Right, Weaksauce and many others. Although we dont play shows anymore due to us moving around and hectic schedules we do still play and are all still a part of the local scene here in the A.V. Keep your eye out some of the guys are forming a new band it wont be R.A.T.S but maybe we'll get on stage and play a song or two.
