My latest adventure..Drum Roll Please............Thesis / Scholarly Writing - FOFL (fall on the floor laughing - for those of you who didn't know what FOFL meant) :) :) I think I'm beginning to sound really smart - on paper that is................ I also LOVE Basketball, Swimming, Horse Back Riding, Boating, Skiing (water and snow), Hiking and my other newest adventure, Deep Sea Fishing - I LOVED it!!! I wasn't very good at it, but, next time I'll catch the biggest one!!!!! I'd like to take up relaxing to....LOL
In the end, I look forward to meeting our loving savior. Due to the recent deaths and accidents in our family and friends, I am reminded that each day is a gift from God, and that we must live it to it's fullest. There is no promise of tomorrow, but, as long as those I love, know just how much I love them, it's alright with me.......I'd like to meet Michael Phelps, Keri Underwood, Allison Krauss, George Strait, Sugarland.....I'd love to sing a duet with Sugarlandor well, anyone famous or be a backup singer...LOL, like that would ever happen :)
I like all types, but don't listen to it often enough. So, add some good tunes to your page so I can visit and listen. I like to pull up my favorite friends page and listen to their fav's while I am writing...so go ahead, get some new tunes and send me a note to listen!!!! As for my usual answer: I can't get enough of Sugarland, and well, now I still know all the words to several Hannah Montana songs - not by choice, but by repeats, for Abbey in the car. Thank you Abbey - NOT!!
Haven't had a chance to watch any new ones lately - Hmmm, I wonder why? Long Long ago, I watched p.s. I Love You, wow, if you need a good cry, this is the one. If you don't, don't watch it! The notebook got me at the end, but I loved it. P.S. I Love You, gets to you the whole way through!! I loved Message in a Bottle, Beetle Juice, and all of the Toy Story movies. Oh yeah, I loved the Goonies too.
Well, Right now, I only watch a little of the news (what a depressing way to start my day - LOL) in the mornings while trying to get ready, and I often flip on the weather to track the hurricanes headed toward the gulf. We have family there and of coures, the hurricanes worry me..... So far so good, but we must remember to pray for those devastated by Hurricane Ike - my heart goes out to all those families!! Now, when the Olympics were on, I stayed up way past my bed time every night, especially to watch Michael Phelps!!!! He was awesome! I loved watching them this year - they were all exciting. I still love clean house, what not to wear, and design on a dime...I wish someone would de-clutter and make my house pretty...
Well the BIBLE should be the most important to me and of course everyone else, which admittingly I need to read more of !! Right now I'm knee deep into Research in Educaiton by Best and Khane, and Classroom Assessment by Airsian and Russell - now you can LOL... those are my school books and no, I don't enjoy reading them at all. However, I do still love those bathroom readers that are full of interesting facts and funny jokes / stories and I also love reading adventure stories that take you far far away from reality....(LOL!!)

My Hero is still my Dad. He always worked very hard to support my family and took us to church whenever the doors were open. To this day I am still a faithful member of the Church of Christ, and am thankful for his wonderful, hardworking, Christian example. He is twice retired and works full time as a paramedic. Thanks to him and all those who save lives every day. I think he's as important as the doctors who are there for the patients when he arrives with them. If it weren't for paramedics, the E R doctors may not have much of a job. Well, they'd have those pill poppers and flu snifflers that come in every week for medicine - LOL I Love You Dad and am thankful for everything you have done and do for me!!
