Hey, the name is Tommy, I'm 20 years old(turning 21 in 3 weeks), born and raised in Chambersburg, PA. I now live in Upton with my girlfriend, April. I'm the 5th of 6 kids in a complicated family structure. I was the youngest of 3 children my parents had together, but my father died 4 months before I was born. My mother then got with the person I was raised by, who had 2 children of his own, and they produced my younger sister.
As previously, I live with my girlfriend; my wonderful girlfriend. She and I began dating on July 10, 2007 and my life hasn't been the same since. Every morning when I wake up next to her and I see her laying there I fall in love all over again. The last 8 1/2 months have been an amazing time in my life and each day gets better than the last. I never would have imagined myself being this happy and I know I have found exactly what I want. I love you April and I can't wait to give you my name!
To throw a brief line in for education...I am currently enrolled in the University of Phoenix Online majoring in Accounting. I am only a few months into my classes, but so far I am enjoying them and I would strongly recommend the UoP to anyone interested in going back to school that doesn't have the time to go to classes. It has certainly helped for me as I am still able to work as many hours a week as I'd like while keeping up on schoolwork.
I work at the Target distribution center in Chambersburg and have been there for two years. It's not a bad job; it has a its good days and its bad days. For the pay it was a great place to start right out of high school but I am considering a career move at the moment.
So...how about some hobbies? First and foremost I would have to list bowling. I have been bowling for about 16 years now and recently decided to begin taking it more seriously again. On March 19 I bowled a PBA tournament in New York, and although the result was horrendous compared to what I had hoped for I learned a lot. It may sound odd, but a poor finish on my part really made me feel as though I can be competitive. This summer I plan on bowling at least one regional tournament and from there I will decide whether or not to continue bowling the pro events. To date I do not have a 300 game yet, though I have been close on many occasions. I have 2 299's, a 290, and 35-40 270-somethings. I'm not really upset about no 300's, because I recently bowled my first 800 series...an 802. That to me was far greater than bowling a 300.
Other hobbies? I guess you could say I am into cars. I have owned a good many of them for my age. My current collection includes an '07 VW Rabbit, an '05 Pontiac Sunfire(my girlfriend's), and an '87 Ford Ranger(my beater). I did have an '84 Porsche 944 but I recently sold it. I will have another Porsche someday, but for now it seemed like a good idea to let this one go.
Anything else? Yeah, I've got some other hobbies, but they aren't as big as bowling or cars. I love being outdoors. Caledonia is one of my favorite places to go to run the mountain trails or take a walk down by the waterfall. I ran track and cross country in high school and am still an active runner. I also like mountain biking and I enjoy hopping in the pool for a swim. I'd like to get into doing triathlons at some point but who knows if I will follow through with that one. I also enjoy basketball and softball and would like to find some way to play either competitively again. Other than that, well, I think I covered most of it but I'm sure there is more that I missed. If you'd like to know anything else just hit me up sometime. My AIM is TTaylorZ24 and my msn is [email protected]
