Mad Mo Productions, a company that has made artists into what they are now. Working alongside great artists such as Jay Sean, Juggy D, Sukshinder Shinda, and the Hypnotize Crew in the Asian scene has given the self-taught producer Mohammed Zohaib Khan a clear idea of what the industry demands.Mad Mo (Mohammed Zohaib Khan) started as a Dj and by looking at great artists such as Rishi Rich, Sukshinder Shinda, Adnan Sami and A R Rehman gave Mad Mo the desire of becoming a producer. His main idol is his father called Saleem Khan who is a great music producer and has worked and started some of the greatest music bands in Pakistan.As a young kid in the game, Mad Mo had some great ideas that needed to be in the mainstream, his father (Saleem Khan) saw the potential and bought Mad Mo his first synthesiser keyboard (korg i3) that enabled Mad Mo to put his ideas on floppy disks. When Mad Mo started college in 2001, he met his first potential artist called Mc O. Mad Mo moulded and managed this artist, getting him gigs and shows at universities that gave the artist confidence.By getting my tracks played on commercial radio stations such as BBC Asian radio, Radio 1, Kiss 100 and Choice FM and getting recognised by some of the greatest radio DJ’s such as Bobby Friction, Nehal and Tim Westwood, gave Mad Mo the confidence of starting his own company called Mad Mo Productions. This widened Mad Mo’s horizons and gave him a bigger chance of finding and working with great artists.Many artists approached Mad Mo after his company was formed. These artists were Murkle Man, Dizzy Rascal, Wiley, Skepta, JME, C Gritz, Tinchy Strider etc from the grime scene and Jay Sean, Juggy D and Sukshinder Shinda from the asian scene.Mad Mo has never thought about only being a producer. He is currently working towards a Business Marketing Degree at the University of East London. He has followed his father’s footsteps of being an intelligent, successful producer who has great knowledge of the industry and knows what the industry demands.Currently Mad Mo Productions is a full running company that has signed and is bringing up new artists from around the world such as Marshaan, Shy, Jozz and Kay B.Kay B is an artist from America who is a great RnB singer. His first album sold millions in the eastern continent more specifically in Japan. He has now looked at the potential of Mad Mo Productions and has singed on for a re release of his great album in the UK but having more tracks from Mad Mo Productions to suite the needs of the UK consumer market.Marshaan is a great singer who has a very different approach to music. By working with Mad Mo, he has learnt a lot and has become a very successful and talented singer in the Asian industry. He is currently working on an album with Mad Mo ProductionsShy, the lead singer of the group called the Hypnotize Crew who has sold millions of albums worldwide. They have mostly appealed to the Asian community and perform in many Mela’s around the UK
Shy has now moved on from the group and joined Mad Mo Productions. He has started to learn about different Genre’s of music and is now currently working on an album with Mad Mo Productions.Jozz is an international artist who has signed on with Mad Mo Productions. He is from Angola and has a unique rapping style. Mad Mo has seen the potential in this very talented artist and has signed him on to his label. Jozz has become one of the greatest rappers in the Angolan industry.The company Mad Mo Productions has been around for 7 Years now and has made many different artists successful.
