Christian MySpace Graphics Born In Uruguay, Singer Songwriter Gerry's music journey started back in the early 80's in the ny/nj, metro area. He started as a dj in a local pub and moved on to playing local gigs. BY this time he had already made a name for himself. Gerry eventually made his way to Florida, while there he was invited to a local church called Cristo la Roca, while hesitant he agreed to go and after 3 days of campaign he accepted Jesus as He's Lord And Savior. Gerry meanwhile continued to dj and work on other projects that included singing, making music and acting Though he had already gave his heart to the almighty the holy spirit yet still had to work on him he was still not living a righteous life. Soon after things started changing in he's personal and spiritual life. In the 90's he relocated to Florida wanting to make a change in He's life. Gerry began college in which he graduated and accomplished one of he’s goals, getting he’s' Communications Major with a Leadership and Minor in Travel And Tourism, Eventually He found his way back to the lord and started congregating in Cristo La Roca for many years but soon after he got an offer from a local radio station to be a Dj and Announcer, he once again diverted his eyes away from GOD. He started working with the radio Doing Interviews with the Big Local and International Latin Rock bands and playing in local Pubs in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area for the radio station. He became a known personality in the area ,he was known as El Santo (the Saint)in The Program ECO URBANO But the Holy Spirit was convicting him, The Lord was Letting him Know that without him in his life there would always be something missing and that it was time for him to come back home! He later unexpectedly met his wife Jessica a Native from Puerto Rico who had also roots in the lord and eventually had a beautiful son by the name of Gianny Raziel. In 2005 he drove himself to the E.R complaining about pain in his kidneys Gerry had already a history of kidney stones and he imagined that was all that it was but little did he know that God had other plans for him , after lab work was done they noticed something was not right, at that point other exams where done and to his disbelieve he was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer and he had to undergo an emergency surgery after 2 days of being in the hospital to remove a cancerous tumor, He remained in the hospital for almost 2 months, while in the hospital a Dr(A wolf disguised as sheep) came to his bedside every knight to tell him he most likely would die, that his survival rate was only a 50% slim chance that he would make it .Gerry in despair told the nurse on duty to please not let the DR back in the room. She was not seen again. After getting out of the hospital his weight was 100 pounds.But After all that he had gone through and would go through he thought he was fine at that weight. Changes started happening slowly but surely. After came Quimotherapy for 6 long months every 2 weeks 3 hours each day in the Morning at home and in the hospital and sometimes even 48 hours at home. The LORD had let this happen, But Gerry Raziel was on his way back to the Lord again.. 1 week after he was home from the Hospital he went back to his Church CRISTO LA ROCA . The PASTOR Angel Diaz with the anointment of the holy spirit laid his hands on him and The Lord Started healing him Gerry little by little started getting stronger and stronger and the Doctors couldn’t understand why he was not getting any side effects, or why he was gaining weight, they told him the quimotherapy was supposed to kill every living cell in he’s body and it all depended on How hes body was going to react , explaining that most people usually die from this rigorous treatment because your body doesn’t have the defenses to fight off infections, a simple cold could kill him .But The Lord Kept working in him and Healing him . When he became strong enough he joined the ministry of Praise and Worship at CRISTO LA ROCA As percussionist playing the electronic drums, making sample tracks and doing background vocals, later on he became one of the Lead voices in the Group. At this point in his life with the lord at his side Gerry is completely healed and knows that the chains of sickness have been broken. He now travels to local churches spreading the word of god, sharing his testimony and worshiping god with the gift that he has given him in voice and music. All for the Glory of the LORD. Gerry also has a CD entitled BORN AGAIN with 9 powerful instrumental songs that the Holy Spirit has inspired in him, IT is A fusion of electronica, Latin, hip hop, and rock to Glorify THE one and ONLY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, he's currently working on a project in which he will be singing for The LORD. GERRY RAZIEL is a Living Testimony that The LORD can do anything and the He Is the GREAT Physician and that he is still the same today as he was yesterday and that he will do the same for you if you let him. It doesn't matter what circumstances you are going through what obstacles are put in your way, Just trust in him and give your life to him.... He’s already done everything else for you, bearing your sins and Dieing FOR YOU on THE CROSS.
