Pointless Hike

The origins of this walk date back to June '04 when Philthy and Nat rode thier bikes back from Vaals to Liège and found an old train line that was now a bicycle/footpath. Then when Philthy talked about the path to his friends from Philadelphia (Mike Straight, Eleanor and Danny) it was joked about making a punk hike there and back along the path as a joke. And hence the walk was born. It was decided to make it on the days around the 14th of July cos this is Philthy's birthday and everyone wanted it at other times ad it was impossible to please everyone. So Philthy decided to do it then to shut everyone up. This year will be the 3rd year and it has been changed to the week after due to Yellow Dog festival falling on the same days as the walk. So this year it will be on Thursday the 19th of July and Friday the 20th of July. It should finish in Homburg near the Belgian/Dutch border and from there on the Saturday we will continue somehow to Aachen for a gig with hopefully Suit Side vs Veda Plight, Status//Hysterie and Nazi Dogs at the A-Z in Aachen. So come one, come all and join in the fun.
