and enjoy life. We are looking at also having a place in Guayqill/Salinas areas.(UPDATE) We arrived in Cuenca one month ago, and we love it here. We are moving into a new Penthouse apartment this weekend. It is beautiful 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath. It is on the top floor (7th) overlooking the city of Cuenca and the Tomebamba River. We will post some pics when we get moved in.The weather is awesome! It is "Winter" here so the highs are in the 60's and lows are mid to upper 40's.We eat out about 6 to 8 times per week. We walk around the city almost everyday.We met in the Military and spent over 10 years in the Army. 1984-1995. We met at PLDC at Fort Bragg, NC back in 1987.We retired back in 2004 at an early age. We spoke in all of North America from 1995-2004 as motivational speakers. Remember, retired is doing what you want when you want. We are enjoying life around the world with our kids and friends. Life is all about the journey not the destination. Enjoy the bads just as much as the goods and you will have all the fruits that life has to offer.
