Where is Pitcher Point? I can safely say that it’s NOT in the tropics somewhere between the Port of Indecision and Southwest of Disorder. Another notable native of the Gulf Coast discovered that local. This story begins in a quiet little fishing town on the Mississippi Gulf Coast called Long beach. That was where a young kid was able to explore into the depths of his own imagination. That kid was me. Growing up there was almost magical in a way. The town was small with the 60’s and 70’s style architecture & looked similar to Amity Island in “Jaws†or Antonio Bay in “The Fogâ€. I remember many days running down the beach to Pitcher Point waiting for that big shark fin to emerge from the harbor and leading my friends down onto the rocky shoals looking for clues to a one-eyed pirates treasure. The films of Steven Spielberg had the largest impact on me as a kid. They filled my heart & fueled my imagination to believe that a great white shark could be lurking in the waters of my little town and if I ran into the woods with a bag of Reese’s Pieces that I would lead a little squishy alien into my backyard. So if you were to ask me why I named my production company Pitcher Point and not some trendy one word title, I would tell you that was where it all began for me, in a small little fishing town that most people have never heard of and where I started my long journey to make the kind of films that inspired me.Welcome to Pitcher Point Productions. Your adventure is waiting.
