Atlantic Drift is the trance project of two Bournemouth-based producers, Aimar & Carrington. Both have individually tasted success in the club scene & now they have teamed up to create an exciting new partnership.
Carrington previously worked as A&R manager for Slinky Music, being instrumental in the success of artists such as Cosmic Gate, Public Domain, Tukan & Lisa Pin-Up. He also remixed some of clubland's biggest tracks under the alias KlubdoctorZ including Cosmic Gate 'Fire Wire' (MOS/Data) & Da Hool 'Meet Her At The Love Parade' (Manifesto). After that he went on to work with Si Paul (Lost Witness) as Eden Project, with their 'Mummy' track released on Riot! He also co-wrote Lost Witness & Pierre Pienaar's recent single 'Sanguine'.
Aimar is known for tracks such as 'Confusion', 'Still Waters', 'Alive Again' & 'Desert Snow' which have graced the club sets & radio shows of the World's biggest DJs. Just a few names supporting his work include Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz, Eddie Halliwell & Marco V.
Now Aimar & Carrington are preparing to tear up dancefloors across the globe with their Atlantic Drift project! They have two styles with a thumping strobe light sound to a more laid back Balearic style. Watch this space for news on upcoming releases!
