Anything to do with Ireland (it IS my beloved country), music, movies, reading, watching rugby (Republic of Ireland), soccer (Argentina, World Cup and Premiership), tennis (Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer), and Moto GP racing (Dani Pedrosa) just generally spending time with people, etc, etc

My current musical loves are Sondre Lerche, Teitur, Damien Rice, Travis, Coldplay, Muse and the Beatlesare my most favoritest band of all time. Oh, and the soundtrack to "Once" is freaking awesome. I have also been digging Snow Patrol, Taking Back Sunday, Social Distortion, Foo Fighters, Panic! at the Disco and Fall Out Boy, Franz Ferdinand, The Format, The Killers, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, and Ok Go.
I adore movies! i have an ever-increasing dvd collection that has no end in sight. i like chick flicks, but my favorite films are usually foriegn/independent numbers, British films in particular. I really like action movies, too, and there are very few movies i dislike.
my favorite shows on tv are Grey's Anatomy, Pushing Dasies, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart (the man is a genius!), the Colbert Report, CSI and Project Runway. I am also way into Rome, which i have been watching on DVD :-)
Right now i'm TRYING to read "A People's History of the United States," and "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee," but I work too much... I do very much enjoy Vonnegut, Dickens, and Hugo, though, and my most recently read books are "Jaywalking With the Irish," "Lies My Teacher Told Me," "Guns Germs and Steel," "Female Chauvenist Pigs," "Lies Across America," and "The Historian."
