"Electro-Mechanica" festival will take place on 13-15 of November 2008 in the Sergey Kuryokhin Modern Art Center in St. Petersburg, Russia.
"Electro-Mechanica" is a three-day festival representing electronic audio-visual arts including music, animation, videos, films, installations and performances.

On the 13th of November we will start with a lecture of Estonian musician and curator Andres Lõo who will also talk about the experimental art scene in Tallinn "The Slow Renaissance: Upper Underground in Estonia 1990-2008". Afterwards Video Jack from Portugal will represent their audiovisual projects AVOL, "Heat Seeker" and "Mater and Margarita" and demonstrate how they work and will answer questions from members of the public. The film "Notes On Breakcore", music videos and animation will be
demostrated from the 13th and throughout the festival.
Music performances will be going on from 8pm to 6 am on the 14th and the 15th of November. Experimental acts in the evening and dance music at night, spectacular visual performances and an altogether exciting atmosphere will make this festival unforgettable event.
