Born in 1978 in Aarhus, Denmark, Britt always knew that, without a doubt, she wanted to be an artist. As a daughter from a Danish Blues pianist and an artistic Dutch mother her destiny seemed unavoidable. Britt’s musical talent began to show on the tender age of eight, when she joined the local school and church choir and developed her vocal range singing. To expand her musical horizons young Britt also took classical guitar and piano lessons. Her musical influences while growing up were; Roberta Flack, ABBA, Aretha Franklin, Simon & Garfunkel among others. As a teenager she performed in several successful bands and saw most of the world thanks to being a powerful lead singer. Britt is the kind of person that not only feels deeply, but also has the guts to explore those emotions and the talent to showcase them live in front of an anticipating audience. Aside from her amazing live performances, Britt is rapidly achieving more and more recognition among a variety of record-labels, producers and deejays as a recording artist because of her beautiful, emotionally charged soprano voice.
