I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I've always been curious and drawn towards finding the Truth about Life and how the universe works, which has led me to walk the road somewhat less traveled.

One of the most important journeys that I've ever taken was the journey inwards to understand and discover more about how our inner world creates our outer world.

I started this MySpace account to get to know more people around the world, and when I do start traveling, maybe I might have more friends to say Hello to!

Journey Around The World

I figured that sooner or later in my life, I'm going to start my "journey around the world" to explore and expand my knowledge awareness of this planet. And because there's only really so much you can see and know in a country like Singapore... (if you even know where it is on the world map! *LoL*)

Right now, I'm keeping a blog site at www.darbright.com about Personal Development with A Purpose.

A Beautiful World

The world we live in can be so amazing, and so inspiring. Sometimes, we have to be reminded of how incredible life can be, even in the smallest of the day to day details. So here's my gift to you today, to remind you again of the beauty of life, and that we should all make our own journey worth living.

Studying and Practicing the Secret behind "The Secret"

While I've studied quite a number of books and teachings, the tipping point that put everything together for me in a step by step manner was when I read the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D. Wattles.

And later on, I studied, in greater detail, the course on the Science of Getting Rich put together by Bob Proctor and Jack Canfield.

Living life with a greater and deeper understanding of universal truths is something that I believe has to be experienced by one's self, as words alone cannot fully express it.

Did You Know?

The success of the movie, "The Secret", was because Rhonda Bryne studied and applied the principles in The Science of Getting Rich.

I've got to say, the more I study and read it, the more I'm amazed at how the book captures so many ideas and principles that successful people have used across the centuries into a simple, straightforward manner.

A short clip about the History behind The Secret, for your viewing pleasure. ;-)

The Science of Getting Rich shares in a straightforward manner how a person, by applying certain laws in a scientific manner, can get rich, in a way that creates more life for everyone involved.

If a different perspective of life is what you're interested in, then try reading the Conversations with God series by Neale Donald Walsch. It might just change the way you view the world. :-)

One thing though, is that I'm definitely weighted to the practical matters of life. What interests me more is in understanding the Truth so that we can apply it to develop ourselves and improve the world around us.

So if you want to know more about the Science of Getting Rich course, visit (the link should open in a new page):

The Science of Getting RichLiving A Good Life

But of course, life isn't all about money, is it?

Although money is an incredible facilitator in the world we live in, and it does make our life more comfortable, I believe that a good life is a life that is filled with:

Good Friends, Good Experiences, and of course, Good Conversations.

Well, don't you?

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People with whom I can have good conversations with, who enjoy living life from the inside out.

I generally like meeting people who have a optimistic and positive understanding of life. People who help others to become better just by being themselves.

People who are fun, enjoying life, and enjoy good conversations about life and everything.

Some of the people that I thought I might like to meet would be Michael Jordan (previously of the Chicago Bulls), Rev. Michael Beckwith and Neale Donald Walsch. There're probably a couple of other people that I'd like to meet, and when I think of them, I might just update my profile! ;-)

Why Michael Jordan? When I played basketball during my school days, I would watch and learn as much as I could about the way he played, so that I could model my skills after his. It was a really great way to improve my skills as fast as I could, and I just found it amazing the way he could play ball.

Why Dr. Michael Beckwith? Because he exudes a certain sense of calm certainty and confidence. Plus, I'd probably continue to expand my world view from speaking with him.

And why Neale Donald Walsch? His words did challenge me to explore outside of my mental beliefs and boundaries to find out as much of the Truth about life as I can. After a couple of years, I did buy another of his books once I was 'ready' to re-look at what threatened my belief systems when I was younger!
