In Hindsight, The band started with former drummer of (Getrent) Josh hooking up with Kriss and Bret at a local show. After deliberation & Same interests, They then contacted former guitarst of (Getrent) Jarod and Dane.Gerald was later added ass the bassist after a few months. Thus the Birth of "Chain of Plagues", This remained the lineup for about a year until some unforseen changes were made. Bassist Kenny was then added. After building a local fan base at the "Rockit Club" & performing several successful shows, recording a demo of the tracks the group had written together, More changes were at hand.
Near the end of 2007, The Band came into a meeting with their now current Manager, Lucian Reinfield, Of "Living Dead Recordings" & just as plans for the 2008 year were being made, Kriss left the band. Thus, changing the entire sound and path of the band, now, without keyboards The plunge into darkness began apparent with BRAND NEW songs wrote in a short time, They are back on the path they belong. With a much heavier, darker sound. Now, Full time members include Jarod on Guitar, Dane on Guitar, Kenny on Bass, Josh on Drums & Brett on Voaclas, With lucian as their manager & a year of shows & ideas coming about, especially with a new name in the horizon, The remnants of "Chain of Plagues" now lies in a deeper much more dark place. Soon To Be Evolved.
Later this year, The band will be signing an INDIE Deal with "Living Dead Recordings" & Making their debut out into the music scene & underground of West Virginia and abroad, with shows lined up in Morgantown, Athens, Princeton, Bluefield, & Many more coming soon...You can all soon expect too see this band in your face, in your scene, heavier than ever, things will only get darker & heavier.
