My name is Brandon Parrish (bp) and I started racing motocross when I was 15 yrs old. The only year i tried to go to Loretta’s, I broke my femur a few months after I won my regional and that was over lol. When I was 20, I bought a CBR 954, and that same year I started my insurance career. That year I also attended my first track day and got hooked on road racing. I had my first full season in 2004, won 11 National Championships between WERA and CCS, and received a lot of support for 2005. Meanwhile, I was building my insurance business working with local companies implementing employee benefits. This career worked great because I was my own boss working out of my home, and I could take off for races while still communicating with clients when I was traveling. In 2005 I had a great first expert season in the Formula USA series. That year I also got my AMA license, raced two AMA Supersport rounds and finished 17th in both races. In 2006 I was getting a lot of requests for health insurance from racers all over the country where I was racing. A lot of racers either didn’t have insurance! or their insurance wouldn’t cover racing. So that’s when I researched all of the insurance companies and found a lot of them had exclusions for racing and a few didn’t. So I started Ridersurance.com in April of 2007 to promote health insurance online. As i mentioned I am only working with companies that have no exclusions for racing and riding weather if it is your occupation or hobby and my main target is the motorcycle community. However the insurance I am offering applies to anyone. So here I am, offering a service to the motorcycle community and racing.
