Irishman, who lives in The U.K. I play tenor banjo and guitar, if I had another life i would love to play fiddle, but content myself with an appreciation of this great instrument. I love all sorts of music, but well played fiddle music is heaven. As a personal preference I love musical playing over sheer technical virtuosity. The playing of Bobby Casey would be a good example, though Bobby's West Clare playing was not deficient in either. He used it tastefully and where it was appropriate.
