About Me

I've been writing songs for a few years now, playing most live shows with just me, myself and my guitar - but having written most songs with two guitar parts (and other instruments in mind) - these last couple of months I have been recruiting new members. Craig started playing second guitar in June and we played our first show together in July. James joined in on bass in August and will be doing his debut so to speak in October. Hopefuly we'll have some better recordings up soon to show what the songs sound like with all of us playing, which'll be nice.As for the music itself - lots of songs about battling with depression, drinking, despair and broken relationships. Theres some I've written about old friends, people I used to know and some about the five years I spent working in mental health - nothing breaching confidentiality or anything but there were a lot of experiences that I needed to excorcise, I've got memories to burn.Come along and see me and the clan play, planning to get further out into other parts of the country next year, we're looking for gigs at the mo so if your a promoter or venue, drop me a line. If not, then nag some promoters and venues near you and tell to get on here and get in touch. Thankyou for listening ratfansSimon
