About Me

Myspace Layouts - Image Hosting - Comments

Cross the border, are an Anglo-Scottish amalgam, based in Glasgow (Scotland) and Kent (England).

Sketchy - Guitar, didnt rate his own voice!

Stoo Nicol - Vocals, didnt rate his own playing!

Mary McAuley - Fiddle, well she is just lovely. One memorably dull night, Stoo asked if sketchy had any new tunes. Sketchy obliged and Stoo then sent him Ghost and shadows! The rest as they say is history!

Drawing from styles including Folk/Rock/Blues/Soul, its a combination of (mainly) Acoustic guitar, fiddle and Powerful vocals!

Stoo has been described as having a "mighty set of pipes"!!! and Sketchy was answered when he asked "Can I kick it?" By "Yes you Can!"

On Cross the Borders music, "More Gravy" The Mighty Pookah
