By creating a multy ethnic sound, Dicherry mixes contemporary and classical music of latino, indian and occidental cultures. Explostions of melodies set in motion by the captivating sound of the tabla make this music special. The play list refers to Piazzolla, Dyens, Villa Lobos, but also Led Zeppelin, Sri Hanuman, and Jean EstabletSri Hanuman, native of Gujerat ( Northern India) is a composer, singer and a multi-instrumentalist. He plays the tabla for more than twenty-five years under the supervision of Kausar Ali ( Benares Ghanara).He has became a disciple of Ustad sultan Khan learning Raga art and melodic improvisations. Sri Hanuman has also been part of multiple recording involving traditional indian musicians. First as an autodidact and later under the supervision of Didier Renouvain he has mastered the art of guitar. He received the prize of classical guitar.His musical portofolio include : The Bombay Yatra Jazz festival. The Ahmedabad Indian FolkFestival. The Monte-Carlos Grand Hotel de Paris. The New York Open Center And also numerous concerts in Brasil, Puerto-Rico, London…It’s in 1993 at Cannes he is introduced to Jean Establet. In 2004 they meet again to create Dicherry : a musical concept unique in its way that unites guitar and tabla and creates a classico-contemporary music refering to Indian and Latino sounds.Jean Establet, native of Cannes (France),is a writer /composer. Student of Didier Renouvain, he recieved the Cannes conservatoir 1st. prize in 1996. For Three years in a duet guitar/ cross flute he plays the works of Piazzola. In 2002 accompany by the Cannes philharmonic orchestra, he plays in a cord quatert a Vivaldi concerto under the direction of Michel Rossini.His musical portfolio include : Theatre lino ventura Nice.
