ABOUT EL-EY & KAT
As a business woman, Kat has had her own media promotions business for several years. Although she is based in Temecula Valley area of southern California she finds herself frequently on the road adding to her already colorful profession.
Coming from a musical and artistic family, Kat's interest in photography came at an early age from the direct influence of her professional photographer grandfather who inspired her and shaped her photographic eye and instilled the disciplines and passions afforded in photography.
Among other avenues of photographic explorations Kat finds musicians to be her favorite subjects. With her interest and enjoyment in live music throughout her life it was only natural to save and preserve the excitement, emotions, and performing energy by taking photos.
As an artistic benefactor to many a musical group based all over the United States it is not uncommon to find her in the front of many stages capturing the movements, actions, subtleties and expressions of band members doing what they love doing most.
