Depaul Live is one of the newest live music promotions in Manchester, and if you're reading this, then you have now officially been roped in to help us fight our cause. Allow us to introduce ourselves properly...
We are a collective of workers from the North West region of the the charity Depaul Trust. We offer homeless and disadvantaged people the opportunity to fulfil their potential and move towards a positive and independent future in many supported accomodation projects in Manchester and around the country.
One day we thought "you know what, music's pretty cool. Let's put on a charity gig night", and thus, the notion of Depaul Live was born. After many cups of tea the comittee formulated a fiendish plan, which basically concentrates on finding new and fresh homegrown musical talent, and simply providing the means for which they need to play live to different audiences. 100% of the profits go directly to the charity of Depaul Trust, and we go home with that warm fuzzy feeling inside knowing that we have done some good. Should you come to any of our live music nights, we hope you take that feeling home too, along with a live music experience that you will not forget.
