I feel led to work in the field of Youth Ministry. I love working with students. And i feel like i can relate well with them..
I love music, most people dont like what i listen to.
I love hard music, with harsh, yelling vocals. People may hear it and say, thats devil music, but the truth is, most of all the music on my ipod is Christian bands.
Bands such as Maylene and The Sons of Disaster, August Burns Red, Norma Jean, Twelve Guage Valentine.
But I also love technical music, such as The Chariot, Anberlin, Soulive, The Devil Wears Prada.
I like to listen to other bands such as, Further Seems Forever, Forever Changed, Haste The Day, Inhale Exhale, Johnny Cash, Life In Your Way, and many others.
I think the idea of bands saying, "We're not a Christian Band, We're Christians in band" is lame. The Bible Says whats in a man is what comes out of a man(Mark 7:20-23). Why not just say you're a Christian band? "We don't want to be confined by the boundaries that Christian bands have." What boundaries? Want to reach more people? Be a Christian Band. If your music is good, everyone will listen. Underoath is a great example.
My life from the beggining has been pretty lame, I was the dorky kid in school trying to fit in, i never did. I was still completely dorky, i wore this ugly orange jacket cuz i thought i was cool with it, i wore skater wrist bands. I was a nerd. still am, but with better fashion sense now. I was a Sophomore in high school when i started going back to church. i didn't go to meet Jesus, i went to make friends. The people i met accepted me right away.they showed me how to be Christ-like. I later accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. Ever since that moment, i knew i needed to be a youth pastor.
Im older now. Ive since been through 2 years of college, both of which amount to nothing. I feel for once im actually half way decent looking, and im starting to be more confident in my appearance.
I am now at a cross roads in my life, as far as college is concerned. Pray for me.

I've seen many things, and done a few more. I was born in New Mexico, I grew up in Clovis. I attend college in Texas right now. I've been on the news, in the newspaper, and across the net. I've worked in Churches. I've played hookey. I've overslept many times. I've successfully failed all my classes at once. I fall short of the goal. But I have Hope.
