VARY is an upcoming rock band from Denmark. All of our music is written by us. We're in the process of making an album, and are looking forward to present it to you all when it's done.
History of VARY
VARY was formed by some highshool "dudes" in 2003. The band got quite populair among the students.
Times changed, people grew into the music and a new leadsinger -female- joined them. Future goals was, and still is, to make some amazing music all written by the band, play it in front of the crowd and live, eat and breathe music in general.
Glenn Bidstrup, guitar, wrote all of the fantastic songs then, and many of them is recorded on our upcoming album.
Summer 2006 the leadsinger left the band, and was in October 2006 replaced by Jane Diehl. Jan Terkelsen, drums, left the band and town around New Year to study.
The first half year of 2007 was quite turbulent for VARY and a lot of changes happend. We replaced the bass player and got a new drummer. Our ambitions were high and was ready to move forward.
Unfortunally the new constellation didn't work for us as individuals nor band ! Drums and bass was once more replaced. Jan Terkelsen, our former drummer, returned to the band, and Henning Jessen, bass, also was found and joined in VARY
We're very optimistic about the new constellation, and our dreams for the future keeps on living... together.
About VARYs music
More of the music is today written by us all - as a band. We all contributes with creative ideas and inspiraton to new music through personal experiences and statements, and that the reason why VARY's music keeps on being intens and meaningful compared with a great sound.
Our absolute main genre is ROCK, but it's also influenced by other genres as eg. PUNK, FUNK, JAZZ, FOLK etc., and this combination makes our music unique and exciting
