I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

To take a line from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, I'm "just this guy, you know?" I'm a complex person, and I have a lot to offer. I am proud of the fact that I am well-educated and love good conversation. I write in my blog section a lot, and I invite those who dare delve into my inner-workings to check it out. I am focused on my future. Even though life offers many twists and turns on the road to success, I plan and hope for a future full of opportunity, love, and happiness. I try to be thankful everyday for the blessings I've been given in life; a family, great friends, a good head on my shoulders, and all the success I've been given thus far. I love to laugh and meet new intriguing people so feel free to hit me up. I also have AIM, and my new craze Google Talk. Hope to hear from some of youWill

My Interests

Local, State, National and International news, political strategy, history, college and pro football, beautiful women, smart insightful people, nice cold beer (lol), writing, singing occasionally, and of course making money.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet people who are about their business. I know it's tough to know where exactly your niche is in life, but you have to e doing something while you're looking for it. Also, I'd like to meet people who can help my professional career aspirations. Simpler than that though, I want to meet people who are honest, understanding, and don't mind a geeky conversation about politics, or economics, or history every once and awhile. People who are good listeners are important too me because I feel that I can value someone more if they at least seem interested in what I have to say...and vice versa of course, I'm a great listener.

Music:

I listen to all different kinds of music. Though usually when I'm in my car I have my radio tuned to NPR or sports talk radio. Some hip hop artists I like are: A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Pharrell Williams, Erykah Badu, Little Brother, and Kanye West.My R&B/Soul favs are: Alicia Keys, John Legend, Brian McKnight, Tracy Chapman, Amerie, and Ne-Yo (because for some reason he just doesn't make bad songs). I have to represent the old school though. Sade, Boyz II Men, New Edition, EWF, Prince, Luther, and Marvin.I also can get with some rock/alt, like: John Mayer, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Santana, Smashing Pumpkins, Jason Mraz, and Maroon 5.Jazz is also something I'm fond of. My favorite jazz artists are: Vince Guaraldi, Miles Davis, and John Coltrane. There's really a lot more I could mention, but I think the point is made...I have an eclectic taste. The Difference Between Living and Existing

I would always make jokes with some friends, after seeing the state that some of our young people are in, that you don't have to raise your kids. In fact, the only thing you really have to do i...

The Morality Net

I was thinking about the concept of morality recently; how we define it and in turn how we use it in our lives. If I could sum what religion tells us about morality, it seems like the point of ...

My Tript to the E.R.

Around 5:10 or so today, I was knee deep in the enjoyment of data entry and filing at work. I let out a good sized yawn in anticipation for the end of the day. Not that I had any plans, but the...
