Sounds Like: Imagine a day where you are dropped off in the middle of the desert and as far as the eyes can see there is nothing to hold onto . You look to the front and you look to the right and you look to your left and then you turn around and all you feel is a loss of direction. Well you know you have to take a step but the question is which way do you go. In one sense there is no right or wrong answer because it looks the same but you have to trust your instincts. If anyone knows about being in a desert for a long time you must know that after a long period of time the mind starts to play tricks on you . You start to see a glimpse of hope when you are drawn to a mirage. Its as if you are starting to come to a place of hope and a time of relief and then as you get close to it , you realize that it was just a fragment of your imagination.I wonder what is that makes us feel such a need to grab onto something that looks and feels tangible in times of distress and hard times. Where is the faith that we are told to live and express which enables us to get to the finish line .If we hold onto our hope and not grow weary as we are fighting the good fight of faith we will surely be quenched in our spirits by the refreshing of a breakthrough and a miracle. This is a story of a man who has endured a sense of separation of his identity as a father , husband and provider. This is a story of challenges and tests of faith that strengthen us as human beings and bring us closer to God who has it all figured out and who loves us so much that He will allow us to suffer for a season and reason that will be a testimony to touch the lives of others.Wow you are telling me that I need to go through hell and back here on earth to understand the suffering is all for a reason to help others. Yes we are told that trials make us stronger and help build character , so here I speak as a man who has experienced the sense of loss and abandonment from those who I thought loved me . You know unfortunately most of the time the people who hurt us the most are the ones who we love the most or I could also say the people who we think love us.Although this may seem as a cry for help and it is for hurting fathers all across the country. This book and this vision is one of reconciliation and hope . A message of love and forgiveness and healing , a new way of thinking about how our society treats fathers and our roles in the lives of our children. I want to encourage everyone that reads this book to know the simple and yet most profound truth about life. Love covers a multitude of sins, meaning we are all susceptible to pain and loss and being hurt by others. But as we learn the truth about forgiveness we start to look for solutions and not blaming others for all the mistakes and misfortunes.FINOH ( fathers in need of help ) represents to me personally as a father who has been separated from his child not once but twice in a matter of 6 years. I felt a need to share my experiences and story to help others who have gone through or are going through a similar situation . Separation between a father and a child is like being separated from a vital organ that has been placed within us to help us function properly. Its like a missing a kidney when you are separated from the purest reflection of love and that’s our children. So I welcome you as we journey through a way of life that requires to walk by faith. A place in time where we can speak out and reach out for help to get us across the seas of despair and to come to the islands of hope . A dream that is tangible and possible when we come together in unity to help change the way we fathers become involved actively and consistently in the lives of our children. There are many facts that have been documented about the importance of divorced or separated parents being equally involved in their children’s lives. We know that many crimes have been traced back to the upbringing of the person and their home life. We know that children who come from separated or divorced parents have a tendency to be more rebellious and cry out for the attention that they lack at home.I can list many different causes and explanations for the behaviors of our children across the country. However I am here to talk about bringing a light at the end of the tunnel. We as parents should start to realize that we are all just stewards of our children for a certain amount of years and then they spread their wings and fly. God has given us our children and we are responsible as co parents to look out for them. There should never be a division between two adults that put a child in the middle of a game and the child being used as a pawn.FINOH is about touching the hearts of the mothers, court systems, and the children about the true realities of how all parties suffer when there is not equal time spent with both parents. FINOH wants to bring real life solutions for real life people. So here we take this first off many steps to change separated broken hearts and families and to bring hope and love and reconciliation. My goal in writing this book and creating the label is first to inform , educate and to protect the rights of fathers and children all across the country. The dream of families being able to share the responsibilities and the privileges of raising their children as equal parents and equal contributors to the well being of the children.Extended Network Banner made with MyBannerMaker.com!
