I'm a former teacher and now stay at home mom to Isabella, the most amazing and beautiful baby I have ever known-I'm a little partial, I know. It's funny to think back on life before she was born. I remember almost feeling sorry for all of our friends that had kids. While we were able to do whatever we wanted and come and go as we pleased...they were busy with all of the things that come along with a baby... crying, diaper changing, bottles, packing the whole house every time they had to leave and leaving only if it went along with the baby's schedule. At the time, it seemed like they were missing out on so much, but now I realize that we were the ones missing out. Every exhausting minute has been absolutely worth it. There is nothing like it and no one can explain it. So I guess I won't try, but I can honestly say I have never felt so blessed, so happy, and so proud in all of my life. My husband, Jeff, and I have been on this journey through parenthood since August of 2006 and yes it has changed us and our marriage, but all for the better.
