"Jazz and brunch go together like David Ortiz and clutch. It's a natural fit and no one fits Ryles regular Sunday brunch like Yoko Miwa, a modern master from Japan, now residing in the Hub." -Boston Magazine."Some of the greatest treasures are hidden in plain sight, and that’s certainly true of the Yoko Miwa Trio. Accessible for the price of a drink at two or three Boston nightspots every week, the trio is a model of musical telepathy and subtle but stunning chops." -Boston Herald.Yoko Miwa, Jazz Pianist

The variety of styles Miwa commands, while maintaining a start-to-finish cohesion of sound on Fadeless Flower, is impressive. A gorgeous and unpretentious set of straightahead jazz.†–All About Jazz“Her second album as a leader is one of the warmest, most unapologetically lyrical jazz albums of the year… Miwa displays her facility with a variety of styles on this all-original program….what's consistently impressive is her ability to deliver complex and challenging musical ideas in a compelling and yet frequently gentle and inviting way.†–All Music Guide“…The Yoko Miwa Trio and it is inviting, melodic and technically appealing. The pianist brings a state of grace to nine vivid compositions which express her many emotions and a rare jazz sophistication.â€-Sounds of Timeless Jazzâ€Please visit the YOKO MIWA OFFICIAL WEB SITE at: YOKOMIWA.COMYoko Miwa on iTunes:Fadeless Flower (critically acclaimed second release)
