I am becoming a "mature" adult. lol I live in the beautiful state of Mississippi on 89 acres. We have horses and plan to have cattle again when we retire. My family means everything to me. I have been happily married for over 13 years to my current husband. He was a Godsend. I had over 21 great years being married to my children's father (lots of growth there..lol.. and Yes, if I had it to do over again, I would.) I am very proud of my children and grandchildren. I miss them because some of them are so far away. I am adjusting to a blended family that I love dearly. My best times are when we are all together. I love visits from the ones still in TEXAS! Becoming a Christian is the most precious gift I ever received. I believe that God is in control and that we must trust Him in all things..good and bad. My greatest growth has been through the darkest valleys of my life. Those are the times I draw closest to His feet for guidance and comfort. I live each day by faith. I love the BEACH (the sound of the waves...the ocean puts it all into perspective). I love the country - the trees and sounds of the birds singing, crickets chirpping and wind blowing. Other things I enjoy are reading, watching tv, all sports except soccer (unless my grandkids are playing), cards, watching movies, going out to eat, dirt races,playing on pogo, cooking and being with family and friends. ROMANS 8:28, PHILLIPPIANS 4:13; EPHESSIANS 1:11 (This scripture has helped me to deal with so many "why's" in my life.)I thank God for this journey and for the people he has allowed to be a part of it. My prayer is that when I die that my life, testimony and witnessing will allow others to know Jesus and when they depart this earth go to Heaven (it is a REAL place)to be with me so that we never part again...
