About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Dark Lord

THIS IS ME.
1986: Wrote first original song, "Dregs of Humanity." In hindsight, it sucks. "That Was Then" indeed.
1987: Formed and sang in "Self Defense Initiative," a rock parody group. Penned hits such as "I Think We're All Stoned Now," "Thunder Thighs," and "Secret Transaction."
1989-90: Lead vox with "Doxology," a cover band in Binghamton, NY.
1994-2001: Bassist and BGVs with "Refiner's Fire" from Scranton, PA.
2003: P/T bassist with "Trailer Park Prophets," Hendersonville, NC.
2006: Began composing lyrics and music with a level of discipline.
2007: Established my own publishing agency, "Incredulous Inklings Music."
CURRENTLY: Bass and BGV's with "Something Wicked" from Scranton. Listen to a few of out tunes at www.myspace.com/somethingwickedhere. In my spare time, am completing composition for a rock-opera entitled "The Castle Chronicles." Find out more at www.myspace.com/thatwasthen08

My wife had a slew of stuff to attend to today, so I decided to take my 3 kids to the park today. Everybody wins; my kids get to run around and have fun, my wife gets some peace and quiet, and I get s...

Have you found this diamond in the rough?

I rarely make it a point to "endorse" albums of unsigned artists, but when a music project is thoroughly excellent, I'm more than happy to do so. I submitted the following review to CDBaby this past w...

No longer forgotten

The thoughts here are kind of follow-up thoughts from my last blog post, "The Forgotten." As I shared in last week, I deeply regretted not being able to get back to that old house in the woods to find...

"The Forgotten": not all the ideas clear the threshing floor

Last year I had written a song about an experience I had back in my college years. (...No, not THAT kind of an experience!) A schoolmate and I had taken a walk in the woods behind the campus on a chil...
