This is just extra space to put new Digging Up Virgins songs.
Excuses are, after all, real, and I hate this American "no excuses" attitude. Hoping the title will make excuses seem cool (this is a subversive marketing scheme targeting the youth) I've decided to change the "album"'s name from Save It For the Patriarch to Excuses Are Real.
I've only put up songs that have been recorded on my 8-track recording thing for the sake of a consistant sound. If you haven't downloaded the other songs, just message me and I'll put them up for a few days so you can get them.
There's a good 25+ songs I'm working on right now and the ones that fit onto a cd-r will be the ones that comprise the "album". The rest I'll put out with an excuse of getting to devise another album name (similar to the way I've taken advantage of only being allowed 4 songs on a myspace page to create a new band name).
These are the songs that have so far been recorded and aren't on the DMV sites (I've decided to call the collective of my band names Digging Many Virgins. Think of it as a record company or something):
Oh My Blog
What a Wreck
Dirty Snow
Priestgaurd
The King (accoustic)
Sidewalk Surfer (accoustic)
Anthem
Yup Good (accoustic)
Bake Sale (accoustic)
Something That We've Saved (accoustic)
Salesman (Subversive cover)
The Concept (Teenage Fanclub cover)
Love Hurts (Roy Orbison cover)
Peter Pain
There are also live tracks at diggingupvirgins.tk
Actually... all the songs above can be found there I think. I'm just not too sure if the site is still up. The covers are pretty sweet and I might throw them onto Excuses Are Real.
Enjoy the music. You'll like what DUV tells you to like.
