I've finally started taking Salsa dancing lessons and that has segued into other forms of dance. I love it all!!! I'm usually out dancing two or three nights a week. I also love history (every time period, not just American history or European), politics, literature and learning -- I got that from my Irish grandmother. I try to remain involved in activism and political activities.
I go to Renaissance Faires when I have time -- but in college there is so little time and they require sooo much energy.
I also like tinkering with computers and electronics -- learning what they do and how they do it. NAPPING is my favorite hobby!
Your Hidden Talent
You are both very knowledgeable and creative.
You tend to be full of new ideas and potential - big potential.
Ideas like yours could change the world, if you build them.
As long as you don't stop working on your dreams, you'll get there.

Cheaters will be shot on sight.
Love Zeppelin MOST OF ALL! Suffice it to say I like classic rock, American Pop Standards (the originals are so much better than today's crop of crooners), Motown and classic R&B, blues, some jazz (not that muzak crap that puts you to sleep), classical, reggae, some pop and rap, but most music on popular radio now is just unimaginative drivel.
Almost anything deemed "period" such as "Dangerous Beauty", "Anne of a Thousand Days" (classic Richard Burton), "Dangerous Liaisons", and anything based on novels by Jane Austen or the Bronte sisters.
Also "High Fidelity" and just about anything with John Cusack in it, "The Princess Bride", "Practical Magic", "Young Frankenstein" and "History of the World Part I", all of "The Godfather" movies, "The King and I".

What Retro Girl Are You?
All-time favorite book: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
I also love all of Jane Austen's books.I'm currently reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence by Robert Pirsig, Tales of the South Pacific by James Michener, Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray, and I just added Hooking Up by Tom Wolfe to the mix. I read whichever fits my mood on any given night.
Your wise quote is: "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising everytime we fall" by Confucius.
Yes indeed, you see true strength can only be seen when a person has "fallen". Only then one can tell how they will handle it. Just don't make others fall so you can know who they really are. You, on the other hand, may be a very quick recoverer and don't let people bring you down. You are your own, and you're fine with that. You handle emotional issues rather nicely.

The woman who is 75% responsible for the person I am today and the most important woman in my life -- my grandma. She died two and a half years ago and I still can't believe she's gone.
I hold Debra Brady as a role model for my life. She survived terrible things in childhood and still grew to be an incredibly accomplished, intelligent, compassionate, powerful woman with a wonderful marriage as well!
My family's totally crazy, but what can ya do?
