Birch Evergreen Band

About Me

Influenced by traditional bluegrass, roots, folk and rock, the Birch Evergreen Band creates music that connects to the human spirit with topics that express feelings towards concepts such as relationships and the vicissitudes of life, among others. Don't be surprised to hear a familiar tune thrown into the BEB's set in their own flavor. Founder Tim McDonald's background includes influences from his parents' affinity for rock and folk music from the 60's and 70's and his siblings' tendency to tune into classic rock and popular music from the 70's and 80's. Mixed in with his own personal musical delvings--getting into everything from the blues and bluegrass; the Beatles, Clapton, Stones, et. al. from the sixties; the grunge and alternative rock of the 90's; and just about anything on the radio from then until now--needless to say anything can happen!
