Alexis is the latest Pop/Latin artist to emerge from the heart of West Texas. To hear her sing is like taking a journey along a winding road with a breathtaking landscape. Her voice is soft, yet powerful; relaxing, yet infectious enough to give goosebumps. Born and raised in San Angelo, Texas (home of the acclaimed Los Lonely Boys and Paula DeAnda) Alexis is destined to become the next superstar from the Lone Star State.At the age of 8, friends and family recognized Alexis' talent and always encouraged her to sing, but her passion for singing would begin at age 13, while performing at a Cinco de Mayo celebration. During the event, she started to sing the first of her 3 scheduled solos in front of a modest crowd. As she sang, more and more people began to make their way to the stage, intrigued by the beauty of her voice. The crowd grew larger and larger until Alexis suddenly realized that she was singing in front of approximately 500 people; and they all loved her! A parade was scheduled to begin following the performance, but there were so many chants for an encore that officials were forced to hold up the entire parade so that she could sing one more song. Alexis cherishes that moment and fondly remembers the feelings that overcame her as the crowd cheered, realizing her ability and potential to make people happy by using her gift - her voice.Alexis has since performed at quinceneras, weddings, and private events. A talented songwriter as well, her goal is to share her stories with the world through song, establishing a connection with her fans in a way that makes them smile and feel better about their own lives. She is currently working on her first single, which is being produced and recorded in Dallas by Grammy Award winner and multi-platinum producer Madukwu Chinwah. Keep your eyes and ears open.
