My Sister Ocean - Release Date August 31, 2007
My Sister Ocean consists of 2 schooled musicians (Holden Daniels and Eugenio Pacileo) who have been the rhythm section in several bands since they first jammed in January 1996. In the spirit of other duo bands, they have a simple, pared-down sound that communicates directly to the listener, and without the status-quo electric guitars getting in the way. The band is unafraid to delve into softer, more delicate material (like on the Kravitz-esque track "Let's Drink To Us), but they mostly deliver a very original variety of heavy, hard-hitting, melodic rock.
