.. Now IconsAfter all the darkness & sadness, still comes happiness, if I surround myself with positive things, I'll gain prosperity ... A single rose is in essence, a symbol of completion, of consummate achievement and perfection. A rose symbolizes beauty, joy, youth, charm, innocence, perfect happiness, friendship, courage, respect, purity, humility, promise of a new beginning, exuberance, desire, togetherness, and gratefulness. I feel I represent everything a rose does. I am pretty like a rose. But I am also human having imperfections and weaknesses which represent the thorns on a rose. I am defensive by nature which is a definite weakness. I always have a gaurd up as my protection just as a rose has it's thorns.♥It is only a tiny rosebud, A flower of God's design, But I cannot unfold the petals With these clumsy hands of mine. The secret of unfolding roses Is not known to such as I, The flower God opens so sweetly, In my hands would fade and die. ♥ I cannot unfold a rosebud, This flower of God's design, Then how can I have wisdom To unfold this life of mine? ♥ So I'll trust Him for His leading Each moment of every day And I'll look to Him for His guidance Each step of the pilgrim way. ♥ For the pathway that lies before me only the creator knows I'll trust Him to unfold the moments Just as He unfolds the rose. ~Anonymous.
