WRITERS BLOCK is a contraversial Spoken Word group that has been on the poetry scene since 1999 based out of Northern California. WRITERS BLOCK consist of 3 members who were blessed by GOD with talent to uplift the spirits of many. WRITERS BLOCK is considered to be the modern day LAST POETS spreading messages to uplift the cultures of many. Rodzilla, Maltize Falcon and AKRONEMS have seperated themselves from poetry, spoken word and decided to create their own style of poetry called AUTHENTIC SPEECH. This came about when other cultures raped the true essence of poetry by not teaching or passing on the knowledge of overcoming any situation. WRITERS BLOCK is about encouraging people in the name of GOD. we have performed with The Last Poets, Saul Williams, Kat Williams, Michael Epps, E-40 just to name a few.
