Influences: Teddy Campbell. I have to pay a special tribute to this guy. He has been such a blessing and has kept me focused on what drums is really about. He’s an awesome player, very annointed and has some of the best grooves I have ever heard.Other guys are: Aaron Spears, Mike Portnoy, John Blackwell, Damian Fisher, Rodney Holmes.A big mention to Israel Houghon & New Breed they’re awesome and abundantly blessed. They have been a HUGE inspiration. Also a mention for Big Mike Clemons - I highly respect the stuff he did on ’Alive in South Africa’.Bernard Purdie - he is a legend. his groove is SOOOO deep. he doesn’t know it but he’s blessed me.Last but certainly not least is Ndugu Chancler: the man with the deepest groove - an awesome musician.
