About Me
I was born in Arlington Heights, IL (a subburb of Chicago) on Sept 3, 1971. I don't remember anything of the Windy City though because my family left for Houston, TX almost six months later. I grew up in Northwest Houston, in a subdivison called Inwood Forest. I did the typical kid activities; played sports at the local Dad's Club, was a Cub/Boy/Eagle Scout, had pine cone fights waiting for the bus in the morning, went cottonmouth hunting in the bayous, "profiteered" stray golf balls from the pond at the local golf course, played football in the cul-de-sac, had late night dinners with friends at Two Pesos after working at the local grocery store... I went to school at Inwood Elementary, Bethune Fifth Grade Center, Hoffman Middle School, and Eisenhower High School.Afterwards, I went to college at Brigham Young University, took a break for two years to do missionary work in Minnesota, came back to Houston for a year, then back to college in Utah. I met my future wife to be, dated and courted for a year and a half, got married in the Manti Temple on Jan 20, 1996 and tried to work three jobs and still go to school.Obviously that wasn't working out, so I joined the Army as a counter-intelligence agent, became a damn good NCO, was recognized by my commander, sent to OCS, became an even better MI officer! Spent a total of 8 years in the military, 4 1/2 of those years were away from my family on deployments, etc. I finally started to think about seriously getting out when my wife became pregnant after I got home from a deployment. My first son, Clark Alan Hall, was born Apr 10, 2004. I left the military in 2005.I now live in Sherman Oaks, CA and work as a government defense contractor at the Los Angeles AFB. We had a new addition to the family on Jun 22, 2006. His name is Chason Kent Hall. He was 7 lbs, 7 oz and 21 in long. (I know, I know, Clark Kent! It was planned! LOL) He is a beautiful child and yet people say that he resembles me. How can that be?
