Una riversplash is the first Bosnian and Herzegovinian reggae festival (eco/activism-art-music).
It is organized by URC ( Una riddim community), NVO and opened art community of Bihac.The idea of the project has developed during year 2004. and 2005., and one-day promo fiesta has been performed on 13th of July 2006. in Bihac (City island), where Una riversplash has been introduced to the world and native audience as a promising peace project.
Some of performers of URS06 promo fest are The Steppers (Fr) and Defence (BiH).The first official Una riversplash has been maintained from 3rd to 5th of August 2007. in Bihac (City island).
A three-day event was followed by a large number of performers like:
Vuneny (BiH), Isiah Shaka (Fr), Kanda Kodza i Nebojsa (Sr), Bilk (Cro), Dub rebellion (BiH)...Characteristics of Una riversplash are: beautiful natural environment of islands of river Una, eco camp and eco workshops, various musical and art workshops, main stage with international and native reggae/dub/cross artists,
DJ stage near the camp, night video projections of reggae and activistic movies, kitchen and bars for visitors, and three-day association with a number of various guests and visitors.The festival carries a mission of peace and tolerance, and the lead motive is environment protection, primarily of river Una confluence, and development of confidence between Balkanese nations and nations from all over the world.Una loveINFO / CONTACT:
