James Turner II is a native of Nashville, TN. A graduate of Tennessee State University(BA) and Morehouse School of Religion, ITC (M.Div). He has 15 years experience as a youth pastor and youth specialist. James Turner served four years as a Probation Officer of Juvenile Court of Nashville, TN where he managed a caseload of 250-300 youth. His caseload consisted of 90% African American males and 95% of those young men were involved in gangs. He founded The Dream Team, a gang awareness and counseling program, which presents to over 250 organizations and youth groups annually. This program has counseled and mentored youth in gangs to college and vocational schools. He is gifted in communicating to this generation, reaching at-risk youth, and outreach to inner city communities.James Turner served as the Youth Pastor of Empowerment Temple Church in Baltimore,MD where Dr. Jamal Harrison-Bryant is Pastor.
