Who is Gabe Luchiano?Gabe Luchiano, born Gabriel Johnson is a native of Boston, Massachusetts. This hip hop artist arrives with the nerve, ambition, and confidence to step outside of the average hip hopper. Luchiano states, "No one in the hood drives Bentleys or Porsches. No one in the hood is clubbing 24 hours a day. Real soldiers in the struggle, like myself, are on the street corners trying to make something out of nothing. They are trying to turn white into green...this is real life, real struggle, real pain." Boston is home to greats such as Guru and New Edition.As a child, Luchiano was inspired by artists who were able to paint vivid lyrical pictures of the ghetto. Artists like Nas, Jay-Z, and Wu Tang Clan spoke loudly, and more importantly, they spoke clearly. Luchiano believes that he is speaking for those who are "trying to make the best of a bad situation." This rising hip hop star has a style which can simply be described as diversified. All of Luchiano’s songs are those that people from the streets are accustomed to.
