polymental

Polymental was formed as a side project in spring of 2007 bringing together musicians from various established bands in the Icelandic rock/metal scene. The first songs that were put together were fairly heavy and technical, but as the song writing process evolved a quite different estethecism came to life, that was exploring the twilight zone between beauty and madness. During its brief existence the band played regular shows and released a six song Ep. The Ep, wich is a genuine landmark in the Icleandic rock saga, was produced by the band, and co-produced and mixed by musical genious ÓLAFUR ARNALDS. The Ep is still available in local record shops, and will be for sale on this page shortly. In may of 2008 the band officially quit, and four out of five members formed In Siren.
