As a kid Juno had a dream: he wanted to sing and perform like his idols – Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and James Brown.

As the first R‘n’B/pop-artist coming out of Greenland he is truly realizing that dream.

Juno’s singing talent began developing while growing up on the streets in his hometown Nuuk, Greenland. His creative abilities soon proved to be more than just a young boy’s fantasy. During his early teenage years he taught himself how to play several instruments including the drums, guitar, bass and piano. This is where the first steps towards a career in music were taken.

Since then, Juno’s journey as a musician has taken him through a variety of bands and genres earning him a spot as the most anticipated musical prodigy from Greenland.

However, pop, r‘n’b and soul was closest to his heart. After having spent a number of years in Copenhagen, he returned to Greenland to find inspiration for his debut album. This essential decision has resulted in a well-produced album filled with advanced vocals, personality and a surprising international sound.

His music is a balanced and bold cocktail of solid beats straight out of the urban scene mixed with the catchy sound of pop and a slight reminiscence of the motown universe. His lyrics also tell us a story about the paths, detours and shortcuts of life; love and longing, emotions and situations that are shared by all of us.

Juno’s first single “Amazing” is now available on iTunes and TDC online. The single featuring Swedish rapper ADL from the well-acknowlegded hiphop group Nobody Beats The Beats - is truly the essence of Juno’s style and sound – a catchy personal pop tune with lyrics we can relate to.

The much anticipated album is planned to be released in early 2010 and will be available on iTunes and other online shops.
