Music has always played a major part in my life; from listening to my favourite CD’s over and over again to stepping out on stage and performing myself. Back in March 2006, I signed my first recording contract with SoundBytes Media. It’s been a privilege to be involved in such a life changing project. Even though this journey has only just begun, it’s already been full of exciting experiences. If anyone had told me back in March that in less than a year I’d be sat at the 2007 Brit Awards, I’d have been like “Yeah right, you must be joking!â€. However, in February 2007 I found myself at Earls Court surrounded by some of the biggest names in the British Music Industry! Good Times :)
These last few months have been huge learning curve for me and believe me - I’ve learnt a lot! In April I had my first singing lesson with David and Carrie Grant; this was an exciting yet nerve-wracking experience. Just minutes after arriving at their studio, I found myself jumping around and singing into an imaginary microphone to show them what I could do...How embarrassing! However, I have to say, they are really cool guys to work with and they’ve already taught me loads.
The launch of my first single “Extraordinary†is fast approaching, the release date is yet to be announced...watch this space. Also make sure you look out for my album (that I’m in the middle of writing) ...it should be out by the end of the year.
