INTERMEDIALE
is a festival of audiovisual forms. It is organised regularly and offers a complete review of current aesthetic tendencies in modern performing arts: live performances, video-art, video installation, audio-art, electroacoustic, industrial and experimental music. The first edition took place in 1994, and was called ’Legnica Ars Media Presentations’.
The festival is, on one hand, a forum, which shows potential applications of new media and technologies in the audio-visual arts, while on the other hand it is a zone of creative experiments in the sound and vision field. For the last three years it has ben realised as Audiovisual Forms Festival INTERMEDIALE.
In 2000 The Face Productions released a CD: Simulacra Soundscapes, which contained the previously edited music.
