I'd like to meet:
I'm stealing this from DAG - I feel the exact same way! So Props to YOU DAG! You're a genius!!!
"You. You are on my friends list here, so, yeah... I want to meet you!"
&
"Jesus. We'd be buddies. We'd hang out & shit. He would see me as sensitive & thoughtful. I'd compliment him on his choice of Birkenstocks."It's masochistic on my part, but I've always wanted to meet & get to know my biological father, alas that doesn't seem to be coming to fruition for me in this lifetime....shabbat shalom motherfucker

Music:
Let's just say I have a wicked eclectic taste in different genres of music. Not all are listed below but if you listen to my project playlists I've put together on myspace www.misfithair.com page which is linked to THIS page, you'll get a smattering of what I'm into. Mind you, that just begins to scratch the surface!
MySpace Layouts
I totally dig Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, RUSH, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa the Rolling Stones, Tenacious D, CAKE, Billy Redfield, The Fray, Queens of the Stone Age, Cowboy Mouth, SCOTS (Southern Culture On The Skids), G Love & Special Sauce, Smashing Pumpkins, Oingo Boingo, The Talking Heads, Julian Lennon, Sean Lennon, John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Bjork, The Sugar Cubes, The Hoodoo Guru's, Don Ho's (Tiny Bubbles)-(RIP), Wayne Newton, Tom Jones, Graham Parsons, Eric Burden/War, The Kinks, The Animals, Sting, The Police, Stevie Ray Vaughn, U-2, ColdPlay, Queen, David Bowie, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Neil Diamond, Velvet Revolver, Beastie Boys, the Ramones, the Misfits, the Pretenders, Etta James, Corine Bailey Rae, Dido, Annie Leonnox, Chris Issak, Billie Holliday, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson (even though he's a whack job - he's still freaking talented!) Billy Joel, Mel Torme, Meat Loaf, Gershwin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, the Doors, Metallica, DIO, Steely Dan, AC/DC, Luscious Jackson (Why did those chics split up?!?! They rocked!) Kings of Leon, Jeff Buckley & Minnie Riperton (RIP), Jack Johnson, Green Day, Jay-Z, the Fugees, Fergrie and most other genres of music EXCEPT country. I deplore the twang and would rather jab out my eye with a cocktail fork than listen to that shite! The only exceptions to that comment are Patsy Kline...her voice is haunting and bittersweet sublime and Johnny Cash - the man wore his black rather well indeed! Willie Nelson doesn't suck either, so he's ok. And some Rockabilly or Cowboy western music like Hank Williams Sr. ain't bad. But I'm not one who subscribes to that style normally. I'm more of a rock n roll rebel without a cause.

Movies:
The Corndog Man and SWIMMING are 2 pictures I'm rather biased about. www.misfithair.com I love TOPSY TURVY, Jane Erye, Vanity Fair, The Age of Innocense and most period films. Memoirs of a Geisha, Pulp Fiction, Pecker, The Haunting and other epics I can't get enough of!!! Also, I adore old black and white classics and musicals too! Most anything Christopher Walken does blows my mind....he's one twisted ticket/actor! Gary Oldman is another artist I've always admired as is John Cusack & Johnny Depp - they're just too dreamy, funny yet intense. But it's actors like Robert Dinero that just makes my jaw drop. No matter what he does, I am just amazed and always able to have poignent conversations about those films and the characters! Women who I admire in the industry range from Sandy Bullock, Jodie Foster, Holly Hunter & Lili Taylor. Those gals are MODERN pioneers in their own respects. Ava Gardner, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Rita Hayworth and so many others I'm completely humbled when watching any of their films. Those women had such a WOW factor going on and are the higher standard I feel these new actors should aspire to achieve and embrace. There are soooo many more to mention I can't even begin the list! So I'll just wrap up this diatribe on the faves since they're numerous and endless! However, I must mention that MOONSTRUCK is one of my all time faves!!! That film reminds me of my family in a nutty way! My Polish Aunt Tessy married an American-Sicillian Italian Gentleman, my Uncle Bob and they say life imitates art and art imitates life...one is the other yet the same! Well it certainly is in my family! Can you say movie of the week waiting to happen?!Ok I have to mention that I LOVE the film Napoleon Dynamite. That scene where Uncle Rico pegs Napoleon riding Pedro's bike with Pedro with Kip's steak KILLS ME! Ok maybe it's only funny to me, but I love this scene! Enjoy & Chuckle it up!

Television:
One cannot posses enough TIVO's or VCR's!!!! MUST SEE TV!!! Dirt!, Dirty Jobs w/Mike Rowe on Discovery, Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, The Riches, Damages, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia on F/X, Deadwood (Damn You HBO for not putting closure on that stellar show! As 'Al' would say, "You Fuckin Cocksuckers!"), Entourage, Big Love, WEEDS, Californication, Dexter, Mind of Mencia & RENO 911, Conan O'Brien, Medium, Las Vegas, SNL (SUX BIGTIME THIS past 2007 SEASON! Yet I still watch like the masochist I am!), 30 Rock, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Desparate Housewives, Army Wives, State of Mind, Side of Life, Kyle XY, SouthPark, Family Guy, the Simpsons, King of The Hill, Hero's, Brother's & Sisters, Everybody Hate's Chris, Smallville, Supernatural, One Tree Hill, Lost, Bones, House, My Name Is Earl, The Office, ER, NCIS, Cold Case, Without A Trace, Ugly Betty, Boston Legal, all the Law and Orders & the CSI's and many other shows I record, watch and fast forward thru! I'm not big into reality tv...that is just a waste of good tape/Tivo/DVR space except for Split Ends and Sheer Genius on Bravo! In a nutshell, I don't particularly care for reality TV, but I do watch a tad bit from time to time for a personal self esteem boost or entertainment factor. Clean House on the Style Network doesn't suck - Mark Brunetz is quite talented and good at what he does for sure! The bottomline is this, if there's something on the tube which piques my curiosity, I'm most certainly going to be viewing it one way or another. Yes, I suppose some might think it's a tad sick and obsessive...well I simply retort, "gal's gotta have her hobbies and her 'stories' along with those...so STEP OFF MY CHEESE MAN"! Anyway, that's what the fast forward button is for! Mash the dang thing if you don't like what you're watching and move on! Nuff said.

Books:
Webster's Dictionary(s), Roget's Thesaurus, The Jones English Pronouncing Dictionary, Quo Vadis by Henryk Sienkiewcz, Hunter S. Thompson's Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and anything written by Anne Rice and The Te of Piglet are on my top list!
Heroes:
The sandwich or a person???? If it's the former, Jersey Mike's...if it's the later, my Parents - Patricia & Richard. They've given me a solid foundation of ethics and love to learn and grow from - becoming who I am now (rather neurotic, a tad obsessive compulsive, anal retentive, kind hearted type A personality who's wound a bit tight...BUT Hey! I've got a wicked sense of humor about it all even though I have low self esteem moments, I still put on my 'game face' as not to let folks know that I'm screaming internally. SHITE! I just let the cat out of the dang bag!) As usual I digress and ramble into tangents and am even known to dangle a participle or do something wicked with a preposition, back to the Folks - Their 30th anniversary was on 11/05/07. Happy Anniversary Parental Units~!
