The Laff House Comedy club offers a night where any person can start from scratch in the comedy business. Wednesday night is, "Open mic comedy night, or "Amatuer night," where talent is born. Many comics have started on Amatuer night, and moved on to work at the Laff House on the weekends. Some have gone even further with appearances on BET's Comicview, P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy, HBO Def Comedy Jam, different parts in movies, TV commercials, radio appearances, the whole nine yards.The emcee on Wednesday night is Legendary WID. He has been in the comedy business for decades. WID currently headlines in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, NY city, and the Philadelphia tri-state area. He hosted VH-1s Top 20 Countdown, and appeared on Stand-Up Spotlight. He also appeared on, "Make Me Laugh" on Comedy Central, Carolines Comedy Hour on A & E, The ABC Comedy Club Special, and 30 Seconds To Fame on FOX. WID also appears on the best selling DVD ..Laughing Out Loud - Americas Funniest Comedians.. along with Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen Degeneres, Jeff Foxworthy, Ray Romano, Drew Carey and Jay Leno.
