I'm simply a fun-loving, free spirit kind of person, who tries to get along with all people without judgment or criticism. I believe there is too much negativity in this world and I try to remain positive amidst the pessimists. I believe we receive what we give only magnified so I try to send out only what I would like to get back (i.e. love, kindness, gentleness, patience). I don't believe in any one religion and I consider myself more of a spiritual person in that sense. ~I was raised in a Christian home that was mixed with a father who came from a devout Catholic family background and a mother who was Missionary Baptist Church member, and although I have many Christian friends I find it difficult to feel connected or a part of any church I’ve been to or joined briefly. I have nothing against anyone from any religions and believe that all people have the freedom of choice to what they believe. I do worship my Creator, who is the Sustainer of all life. Only I do not practice my worship or beliefs in the traditional sense of proselytizing and formal practices that I find are often hypocritical, when the people who practice these outward formalities do not practice love, which is what the Creator is - true love. I believe in loving others and treating them in a loving way. I do not adhere to religious practices because I've found that they distract from the real life lessons we are meant to learn and from a real relationship with the Divine Life Source - who is the Originator of all Creation. I've studied about all religions somewhat to see why people believe what they do and so I can better to relate to that aspect in the lives of my friends and future acquaintances. ~I love all of creation - people, animals, nature, creative artists (whether mixed media, writing, movies, musicians, etc....)and I'm also experienced in those areas. I've just completed my first year of Biblical Christian Counseling Course, titled, "Caring for People God's Way" from Light University (American Association of Christian Counselors - AACC). I'm now ready to begin another course titled "Caring for Teens God's Way".~*~ "It isn't what you have, or who you are, or where you are,or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy.It is what you think about. " - Dale Carnegie ~*~ I stay very busy with family needs and personal development. There has been only one difficult obstacle to overcome in a life of one struggle after another, so I'm learning that I'm stronger than I ever thought possible.
